What the guest pays
When the rental starts, a refundable deposit of around €5 is held. The rate is around €2 per 30 minutes and the first few minutes are free. On top of that, charges are capped at a daily maximum, so keeping the power bank longer never costs more than that cap. The deposit and the rate can vary slightly from station to station: the exact amounts are always shown on the screen before you confirm payment, and you can also check them in the Pronto Charge app. When you return the power bank, only the amount owed for the time used is charged and the rest of the deposit is released automatically. How quickly the refund shows up depends on your bank and can take a few business days.

Is the installation really free?
Yes. Pronto Charge delivers, installs and configures the station at your venue at no cost: no purchase price, no subscription, no hidden fees.
How does the partnership work?
We deliver and install the station at your venue for free, in a single visit. Guests rent on their own directly at the station: no app, no registration, works with any phone and any card. Power banks can be returned at any Pronto Charge station in the city, not only yours. Monitoring, maintenance and replacements are on us and happen remotely, so your team needs no training and no daily work.
How does the venue earn from the station?
Your venue automatically receives a share of the revenue generated by rentals at your station, without changing your prices, menu or day-to-day operations. Revenue-share terms are agreed case by case rather than being one fixed rate for everyone.
What does the venue need to provide?
Just a visible spot for the station and a standard power outlet nearby. The station has its own built-in connection, so it does not use the venue's Wi-Fi or IT systems.
Does our staff need to do anything?
No. The station is fully self-service for guests: staff no longer need to plug in phones, hunt for chargers or manage cables. Charging does not interrupt service and no training is needed.
Who handles maintenance, restocking and repairs?
Pronto Charge does. We monitor every station remotely and take care of maintenance, restocking power banks and replacements. Your team never has to step in or report anything.
What if a guest does not return the power bank?
That is not something the venue needs to worry about: it is between the guest and Pronto Charge. Power banks can be returned at any station in the city, not necessarily yours, and the system automatically handles charges if a unit does not come back.
Do we have to sign a long-term contract?
No, there is no minimum term. If you are ever unhappy, the station can be removed.
How long does installation take, and do we need to be there?
Installation takes only a few minutes once scheduled, and your presence is not required: one of our agents handles the setup.
Does the station fit our space, and is it safe?
The station has a clean, compact, modern design meant to sit naturally in restaurants, bars, cafés and hotels without changing the look of the room. It works particularly well where guests spend time: restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels, beach clubs and similar venues already use it successfully.
Can we show our logo or promotions on the screen?
Yes. Pronto Charge can display the venue's own content on the station screen — a logo, an event announcement, a QR code to the menu — at no extra cost.
How do I request a station for my venue?

Pronto Charge operates mainly in Rome and along the coast and is expanding to other Italian cities; if your venue is outside the current area we keep you on the list and contact you as soon as we arrive.
How much electricity does the station use?
Very little: about 4-7 kWh a month, a few euros. Comparable to a small LED lamp running continuously.
Are the power banks safe?
Yes. All units are CE, FCC and RoHS certified. The casing is fire-retardant ABS with a metal frame, and the lithium cells are tested for drops, impacts and temperature.
