Power bank rental terms
1. The service
Pronto Charge S.r.l. operates automated power bank rental stations hosted by partner venues. Rentals start directly at the station, with no registration and no app required.
2. Starting a rental
The rental begins when the station releases the power bank. At that moment a refundable deposit is authorised on your card. It is released or refunded when the power bank is returned, minus the rental fee accrued.
3. Pricing
When the rental starts, a refundable deposit of around €5 is held. The rate is around €2 per 30 minutes and the first few minutes are free. On top of that, charges are capped at a daily maximum, so keeping the power bank longer never costs more than that cap. The deposit and the rate can vary slightly from station to station: the exact amounts are always shown on the screen before you confirm payment, and you can also check them in the Pronto Charge app. When you return the power bank, only the amount owed for the time used is charged and the rest of the deposit is released automatically. How quickly the refund shows up depends on your bank and can take a few business days.
Rates and deposit amounts can vary from station to station: the values shown on the station screen at the time of rental are the ones that apply.
4. If the power bank is not returned
Charges keep accruing up to the daily cap. If the power bank stays out for a long time, a maximum keep amount of around €25, deposit included may apply, after which the power bank is yours and you can recharge it through its own USB-C port. If you cannot return it or run into any trouble, get in touch and we will sort it out.
5. Returning the power bank
The power bank can be returned to any free slot at any station in the Pronto Charge network, not only the one it came from. The return is complete when the station registers the unit and closes the rental.
6. Proper use
You agree to use the power bank as intended, and not to open, modify or expose it to water, heat sources or impacts. Damage caused by improper use may result in the value of the unit being charged.
7. Faults
If something goes wrong with a station or a power bank, contact us at info@prontocharge.it or on WhatsApp at +39 352 077 7880. We check the rental in our systems and correct any incorrect charge.
8. The partner venue’s role
The venue hosting the station is not a party to the rental contract and does not handle payments, deposits or support. All rental matters should be addressed to Pronto Charge S.r.l.
